Holiday Outreach

The holiday season is typically known as a time for family, friends, warmth and happiness.  It is also a time for compassion and giving.  Whether you are on the giving or receiving end of such compassion, consider yourself blessed to be a part of the spirit of the season.  In our busy lives, it can be difficult to remember that not everyone has what they need most days of the year. During the season of giving, we are reminded that from toys, to clothing, to food and shelter, unfortunately, there are some people who are often forgotten.

Dr. Silva of Austin Premier Dental is happy to announce his own outreach program this season.  In an effort to support the Ronald McDonald House AND help the homeless in the area, our dental office will be partnering with a local elementary school to help bring dental hygiene tools and practices to those in need.  The elementary school children will be stuffing 1500 “stockings” (socks) with tooth brushes and toothpastes donated by Dr. Silva. These stockings will then be delivered to those less fortunate.  This charitable program will not only bring oral health practices to Ronald McDonald House families and to the area homeless, but will also help develop the spirit of philanthropy in area children. Now that’s something to smile about!
